For writing we have been learning how to write a persuasive hook.

For persuasive writing we learned how to hook the reader in and making a hook

 we also have been learning things about the ocean like the Rena oil spill and how it killed a lot of sea animals and marine life in the moana!

                         Writing Walt:Write a procedure! Date: Monday 23 of august    How to make lemon crepes! Equipment and ingredients needed: 1 cup whole milk              2 table spoons of sugar 3 eggs                       ¼ teaspoon of salt 1 cup all purpose flour       a pinch of cinnamon. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract    A pan     a spatula Whisk      cooking spray Lemons    icing sugar Method: In a large bowl, combine the milk, eggs, and, vanilla, extract. Add in the flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon. Blend or whisk until just mixed. Grab your pan, turn on one of the elements to medium heat, spray the pan with the cooking spray. Next, get your iron and push down on the straws in the baking paper and move the iron around slowly on the straws 3.  Peel off your straw bracelet and it should of come together and you can cut of the edges of it to make it tidier.
